Coup: a sudden, violent, and illegal seizure of power from a government.

There was no steal. Barr himself said it. This was Trump’s attempt to stay in power despite the choice of the electorate.
He told his followers that “we won’t have a country” if they didn’t stop the vote in Congress. They acted according to his wishes.
